Restructured a global BPO deal, slashing costs $85M. A long-term outsourcing contract with IBM hamstrung Mead Johnson. Spearheading negotiations, architected, championed and agreed on a new deal framework. Captured 30% annual savings in a new seven-year contract while enabling continuous improvements and long-range innovation.
Saved millions with a global SAP-Hadoop Big Data solution. Mead Johnson needed a Big Data platform. Created a cost-effective, scalable multi-tiered Cloud solution, combining SAP Business Warehouse with an open-source Hadoop system. Captured an immediate $1.5M cost reduction and significant additional ongoing incremental savings.
Turned around a struggling M&A integration, capturing $7M in savings. Integration of EnergeX Tube into JMC was behind schedule and over budget. Reengineered the integration strategy. Migrated all systems to the target SAP, ahead of the new schedule. Enabled a $5M reduction of finished goods inventory and $2M in headcount savings.
Improved supply chain performance with SAP. Weak oversight of JMC’s extensive third-party manufacturing supply chain resulted in costly excess and unbalanced inventories. Implemented an SAP solution to track all transactions. Created visibility at all stages of the value chain. Enabled JIT procurement, reducing supply chain pipeline costs $2M.
Instrumental in an M&A deal, cutting costs $250M. Following acquisition by Reynolds, Pactiv needed to cut costs. Spearheaded an operating expense reduction program. Cut redundant facilities/staff, exploited new procurement leverage and streamlined processes. Met/exceeded all objectives. Paved the way to a successful/profitable integration.

Recruited to direct strategic IT partnerships, global business solution delivery, IT operations and core infrastructure services. SVP / CIO, JMC Steel Group, a $2.3 steel maker, 2012-2014. Recruited as key member of executive leadership team. Drove adoption of SAP as the core enterprise solution across all divisions.
