Sullivan’s of Lincolnshire

In our ongoing search for al fresco dining, we stumbled onto a wonderful patio at Sullivan’s of Lincolnshire. We were lured by a special three course dinner, from appetizers to desserts, which seemed to include most of our favorites at a very reasonable price. We had dined at the same location before at two different restaurants – the location seems unable to sustain a clientelle, but we gave it another shot and were not disappointed. We started with a chilled asparagus bisque and an iceberg wedge and both were refreshing on a hot summer evening. For entrees we had an 8 ounce filet and crab stuffed shrimp, each served with two sides. The steak rub was a touch too peppery for my taste but was well prepared from a temperature perspective. We also felt the crab stuffed shrimp was too bready, but the flavors were still very good. As an extra side, we ordered Sullivan’s version of mac-n-cheese, we seem addicted and theirs is very good. Key lime pie and chocolate mousse rounded out dinner. In all, it was very food, with very good and attentive service, all enhanced by a beautiful evening on the patio. Visited August 2015. Link
